It all started when…

December 2016, when I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I was shocked and in total disbelief. I thought to myself, I am not fat, and I am too young as if diabetes had an age requirement. The journey has not been easy and I do struggle with finding the right balance for my body but I have made major changes to my diet. Leafy greens being a major new addition to my table. many may think leafy greens are not good but if you need more incentive to toss bunches of kale into your grocery cart, a daily serving of leafy green vegetables may lower your risk of type 2 diabetes by 14 percent, according to a recent study in the British Medical Journal. Clean Eats is a collection of great dishes I come across and share with everyone.
